First Graduates of BAU Gastronomy

Our BAU Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, established in 2016 under the School of Applied Sciences, has produced its first graduates. Our 14 students received their diplomas at a ceremony held on our South Campus terrace on 18 August. Speeches at the ceremony were given by our Chair of the Board of Trustees Mr. Enver Yücel, our President Prof. Dr. Şirin Karadeniz, Director of the School of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Güngör, and our top-ranking graduate Şule Çelik. Certificates were also presented to our top three students, Şule Çelik, Ecem Toksa and Furkan Önel.

We wish lifelong success in their careers to the first graduates of BAU Gastronomy: Şule Çelik, Ecem Toksa, Furkan Önel, Kadircan Şenyiğit, Defne Uysal, Barış İlhami, Zeyneğ Sare, Ferit Türktaş, Dicle Çalkut, Malike Rana Beşkardeş, Gözde Başak Şahin, Beste Şahin and Nebile Ayşe Gök.
