Winner of the "Umursuyorum" Competition on Screens as a Public Service Announcement

"Sığ Su Balıklama Atlama" (Diving Headfirst into Shallow Water), the winning film of the 1st Umursuyorum (I Care) Animated Short Film Competition, first held last December in collaboration between the Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Türkiye (TOFD) and the Department of Cartoon and Animation, is now on screens as a public service announcement!

In the competition, which focused on the difficulties that disabilities create in social life, Yalçın Eren won first place among films competing with excellent technique and scripts, with his film on diving headfirst into shallow water, which causes thousands of people to become paralyzed every year. His animated film is now reaching the public everywhere.

The winning production is being shown as a public service announcement on television channels, on Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Modyo TV and on Istanbul Sea Buses (İDO). We thank TOFD for this meaningful collaboration and once again congratulate Yalçın Eren on the awareness his work has created.
