PhD Application and Registration Processes for the 2023-2024 Fall Semester
General minimum requirements for applicants to PhD programs:
- A minimum score of 60 in the relevant ALES score type (the relevant score type for each program is specified below) or an equivalent score,
- Holding a thesis-based master's degree,
- For programs with English as the medium of instruction, a language score of YDS - YÖKDİL: 65, TOEFL: 79, PTE: 67 is required.
- NOTE: For the English Language Teaching program: YDS: 80, YÖKDİL: 80, TOEFL: 96
- NOTE: For the Mathematics Education (TR) program: YDS: 65, YÖKDİL: 65, TOEFL: 79
- For programs with Turkish as the medium of instruction, a language score of YDS - YÖKDİL: 55, TOEFL: 66, PTE: 50 is required.
