Meaningful Visits by Students as Part of the BAU Media, Diversity and Discrimination Course

As part of the Media, Diversity and Discrimination course at Bahçeşehir University, our fourth-year students visited the Mor Çatı Women's Shelter Foundation and the Hrant Dink Foundation 23.5 Memory Site to raise their social awareness.

Through these visits, the students gained valuable knowledge about women's rights, gender equality, discrimination and the importance of memory sites. At the Mor Çatı Women's Shelter Foundation, they learned about women's empowerment processes and mechanisms for combating violence, while at the Hrant Dink Foundation 23.5 Memory Site, they had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of preserving collective memory and confronting the past.

These meaningful experiences contributed to our students' development as more sensitive and conscious individuals in the field of media and communication. We thank Mor Çatı and the Hrant Dink Foundation for their contributions!
