Announcement on the Spring Semester Hybrid Education Planning of the Faculty of Communication

Dear Students of the Faculty of Communication,

Due to the ongoing pandemic conditions, in the Spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, theoretical courses will be delivered online and practical courses in hybrid format. In the first weeks of the Spring semester, all courses will start online. The delivery methods of the practical courses to be taught in hybrid format will be explained in the syllabi uploaded to the system by the relevant faculty members. As in the Fall semester, online courses will be conducted via MS Teams, while practical courses will be delivered face-to-face and online in the proportions specified in the course syllabi. In practical courses, students who wish to do so may attend in person by appointment and under the conditions set by the instructors. Since courses are held in hybrid classrooms, students who prefer may also attend the face-to-face practical sessions online.

Throughout the semester, the laboratories, centers and other activity areas of our Faculty will remain open with pandemic conditions in mind, and students who prefer may use these areas in accordance with the rules.

Internships accepted within the scope of Industry Collaborations that can be completed remotely at workplaces offering this option will also be recognized by our Faculty.

As the Faculty of Communication, together with our students, academics and all the stakeholders we work with, we will continue to grow and produce together by making the most effective use of digital opportunities.
For your questions, you may contact the heads of department and the Faculty Secretariat.
I wish you all a successful semester and healthy days.
Prof. Dr. H. Kemal Suher
Dean of the Faculty of Communication
