An Advertising Legend at Our Faculty!

The Department of Advertising hosted a four-week program under the title "Advertising Creativity in Türkiye: A Memory-Building Workshop." In the four-week workshop led by Hakkı Mısırlıoğlu, a figure who witnessed the formation of advertising history in Türkiye, one of the industry's legendary creatives and the first advertiser from Türkiye to win an award at Cannes Lions, the journey of advertising in Türkiye across four different periods was explored. In this course, through advertisements that won awards at Kristal Elma, our students witnessed the development of advertising creativity in Türkiye and, from a historical perspective, the relationship between advertising and the cultural, political and economic changes in Türkiye.
