SOBİD Project 4th Online Meeting

As a continuation of the 1st Professional Development Program of the SOBİD project titled "Design and Implementation of a Climate Change Teaching Module Based on the Socioscientific Issues-Based Teaching Approach," supported by the TÜBİTAK 3501 – Career Development Program, an online meeting was held with teachers on Thursday, 28 March, between 20:30 and 22:30.

This meeting, a continuation of the online meetings organized by the project team to further develop the lesson plans created during the in-person professional development program held at Bahçeşehir University on 17-21 February 2024, focused on the feedback given on the teachers' lesson plans by Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nilay Öztürk and project researchers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Özdem Yılmaz and Assist. Prof. Dr. Gaye Defne Ceyhan. The teachers were then divided into online breakout rooms to continue their group work. In the next breakout session, the teachers carried out peer assessment, reviewing and evaluating the lesson plans of the other groups. The project team also visited the rooms and supported the teachers' work on their lesson plans. The meeting ended after the teachers' questions were answered.
