SOBİD Project Teacher Introduction Meetings

Within the scope of the project "Design and Implementation of a Climate Change Teaching Module Based on the Socioscientific Issues-Based Teaching Approach (SOBİD)," conducted under the 3501 – National Young Researchers Career Development Program provided by TÜBİTAK, online meetings were held on 10-15 January 2024 with the teachers who applied to take part in our project.

After Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nilay Öztürk, Deputy Director of the Bahçeşehir University BAUSTEM Center, introduced the project team to the teachers, she shared her presentation on the objectives and timeline of the project. SOBİD Project Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nilay Öztürk and project researchers Assist. Prof. Dr. Gaye Defne Ceyhan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Özdem Yılmaz answered the teachers' questions. The meeting ended with plans to meet again at the project's first in-person training in February.
