After the February 6 Earthquakes: Presentation of the Research Report on the Psychological and Social Impacts of the Disaster

The scientific event titled "After the February 6 Earthquake: Research on the Psychological and Social Impacts of the Disaster," organized in collaboration with UNICEF and the Trauma and Disaster Mental Health Studies Association (TARDE), was held at the Bahçeşehir University Conference Hall on 27 November 2024.
Through findings based on a scientific social impact analysis conducted in collaboration with UNICEF and TARDE, the event addressed the effectiveness and outcomes of the mental health and psychosocial support activities carried out by TARDE and UNICEF over the past year and a half, as well as ongoing and emerging problems, needs and solution proposals in the context of mental health and social needs. At our scientific event, Bahçeşehir University faculty members and students, the TARDE field team and association members, UNICEF representatives and partners, and experts working in the field from public institutions and non-governmental organizations came together and had the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with leading stakeholders in the field.

At the end of the program, an expressive arts-based workshop titled "After the February 6 Earthquakes: The Psychological and Social Impacts of the Disaster" was held.
