Innovative Education at BAU with the Artificial Intelligence-Supported Crisis Management Course

In line with its mission of innovative education, the Bahçeşehir University Department of Public Relations and Publicity has integrated the use of artificial intelligence into its curriculum. Launched in the 2024-2025 Fall semester, the "Artificial Intelligence-Supported Crisis Management" course aims to give students a contemporary perspective by combining crisis management strategies with artificial intelligence tools.

In the course taught by Lecturer Can Büyükalkan, students develop skills in recognizing and using artificial intelligence tools and applying these technologies to real-life scenarios. Addressing crisis management processes through artificial intelligence information processing methods, students produce innovative solutions to crisis scenarios.

For the final project of the course, students trained artificial intelligence with the "7 Defense Strategies" in crisis management and developed tools that analyze crises and offer suitable solutions for future crises. The students presented their projects to Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Hasan Kemal Suher, Head of the Department of Public Relations and Publicity Prof. Dr. İdil Karademirlidağ Suher and Lecturer Can Büyükalkan.
