Our Cinema and TV Student at the Jack Waltzer Studio
Özgü Delikanlı, a student of our Department of Cinema and TV, successfully passed the audition and earned a place in the acting class of Jack Waltzer, the last teacher of the Actors Studio, who trained great actors such as Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight, Gerard Butler, David Proval and Sharon Stone and worked with directors such as Roman Polanski, Martin Scorsese and Sydney Pollack.
Auditioning live in front of Jack Waltzer, one of the pioneering teachers of Method Acting, Özgü Delikanlı became the first Turkish actor to earn a place in the Paris and Los Angeles classes following the audition process. The young actor, who performed Meryl Streep's monologue from Kramer vs. Kramer during the audition, continues her acting training under the direction of Jack Waltzer alongside award-winning names from Europe and Hollywood. We congratulate our student and wish her continued success.
