Applications Open for the Global Leadership Forum 21 Certificate Program

The Global Leadership Forum (GLF) is a certificate program organized every academic year by Bahçeşehir University's School of Government and Leadership and the Center for American Studies, with the support of the Türkiyem Foundation. GLF aims to give its participants different perspectives by examining global policies at the level of international relations, as well as Türkiye's regional and bilateral relations within the framework of these global policies, from many angles. Leadership, one of the issues that must be examined carefully and in detail in the 21st century, should be developed further, particularly in foreign policy, and its development should be encouraged. Today, when leadership is a phenomenon that can only be nurtured by knowledge and experience, there is a need for well-equipped, knowledgeable and experienced people, especially in global politics. It is an undeniable fact that in foreign policy, the way out of disputes and deadlocks arising from international cultural differences and communication breakdowns between countries can only be opened by well-educated, knowledgeable and qualified leaders. With this in mind, as Bahçeşehir University's School of Government and Leadership and the Center for American Studies, we attach great importance to efforts to train leaders in the 21st century. Addressing leadership from different perspectives at the level of international relations and aiming to develop the qualities required for leadership, the Global Leadership Forum covers different elements and topics of leadership every academic year with the participation of many guests from around the world and Türkiye who stand out for their leadership qualities. In this way, our guests share their knowledge on various subjects with the participants as well as their experience of how to be a leader in today's world. The aim of the program is thus to equip participants with the knowledge needed on the path to training the leaders of the future and to broaden their vision by helping them gain new perspectives.

100% attendance is required to be eligible for a certificate in the program.
