BAU Bosphorus Sailing Cup Held for the 11th Time!

Organized for the 11th time this year by the BAU International Sailing Club especially for Bahçeşehir University's 25th anniversary, the BAU Bosphorus Sailing Cup race took place on the Istanbul Bosphorus on Saturday, 6 May, and on the Caddebostan course on Sunday, 7 May.

The "BAU Bosphorus Sailing Cup", which turns into a visual feast on the Bosphorus every year, started with the participation of dozens of sailboats. Held on the Istanbul Bosphorus since 2013 and also holding the title of "The First Bosphorus Race of the Year", the BAU Bosphorus Sailing Cup took place for the 11th time this year.

Organized for the 11th time this year by Bahçeşehir University, the BAU Bosphorus Sailing Cup hosted more than 40 sailboats on the Istanbul Bosphorus, the meeting point of the Asian and European continents. Starting in front of the BAU Beşiktaş South Campus on Saturday, 6 May, the sailboats finished the race in front of Bahçeşehir University again after fierce competition along the Istanbul Bosphorus. On Sunday, 7 May, the sailboats continued to compete on the Princes' Islands-Caddebostan course in Istanbul, home to the world's only natural race-viewing grandstand, under the supervision of an experienced jury.

This year, the University of Cambridge sailing team also took part in the race for the first time.
