Voices of Civilizations Choir "Spring" Concert

The Voices of Civilizations Choir, which aims to carry the vision of multiculturalism and living together to every corner of the world through music, with a peace-loving and empathetic approach against prejudice and racism, meets art lovers once again with folk melodies from Türkiye and its neighbors at its "Spring" Concert.

Founded with the aim of performing folk songs from Anatolia, the Balkans, the Middle East and the Caucasus in a multilingual and polyphonic way, the Bahçeşehir University Voices of Civilizations Choir began its work in 2012. Having performed folk songs in 20 languages to date, the choir has held events in Cologne, Germany, as well as in Greece and Bulgaria, in addition to its concerts in Türkiye.

The concert, which will take place on Wednesday, 31 May 2023, at 20:00 at the BAU Beşiktaş South Campus / B Conference Hall, is free and open to the public.

The concert's General Artistic Director is Muammer Ketencoğlu, and its conductor is Öcal Öcalan.
