Announcement on Spring Semester Courses

Dear Faculty of Law Students,

As we announced earlier, under the roof of Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law, we see all our students and academic staff as one family. For this reason, protecting the health of our entire family has been and will remain our priority when making decisions about how courses will be conducted in the new semester.

You must have noticed that classrooms on our campus have been assigned for some courses in the newly announced schedule. These are the classrooms for courses to be held in hybrid format (a mix of in-person and online) should conditions improve in the future. In line with the recommendations and decisions of our University and YÖK, and should pandemic conditions improve, these courses may be held in those classrooms if we are able to resume in-person education.

However, as of today, we see that these conditions have not yet been met. Although we miss seeing you in person, it still seems too early to start in-person education.

For all these reasons, we will hold our courses online at least until mid-April. We will see together how the process develops after that date and decide how courses will be conducted according to the new situation.

Our hope and wish is that we all come through the pandemic safe and sound together.
