BAU IAESTE Offers Students Internship Opportunities Abroad

IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience), a non-profit, independent and impartial technical student internship exchange organization, was founded in 1948 at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom on the initiative of many countries. Operating today in about 80 countries, including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, IAESTE offers thousands of students every year the opportunity to do internships in different countries through exchange. IAESTE A.s.b.l. has a confederation structure made up of national committees representing the common interests of academia, industry and university students. Today, IAESTE has an international network covering more than 4,000 students, 3,000 host organizations and 1,000 educational institutions annually.

Operating in our country under the name International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience, IAESTE Türkiye works with the support of a national committee in which academic institutions, industry organizations and student circles are represented.

IAESTE's primary goal is internship exchange in technical fields, and one of its most important advantages is bringing together students from different countries, that is, the engineers, architects and managers of the future, to foster social and cultural exchange and closer ties. Creating opportunities to get to know different countries and cultures, IAESTE also aims to contribute to personal development.

Bahçeşehir University is one of the 55 universities that are members of the IAESTE Türkiye committee and offers international internship opportunities to students of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Architecture and Design.
