An Innovative Step in University–Industry Collaboration

The collaboration between Bahçeşehir University and STM, which has been ongoing for about 8 years, continues to bear fruit. Under STM's consultancy, a license agreement process was successfully completed between Bahçeşehir University and STM to enable the sales and marketing of 3 innovative optical systems designed and produced by academics of the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. This industrialization step was also deemed eligible for support under the TÜBİTAK Patent-Based Technology Transfer Support Call. Within the scope of commercialization, the systems whose license rights were acquired are the Underwater Optical Diver Communication System (CoDiver), the Surface Optical Communication System (CoLink) and the Underwater Lighting System (CoLight).
