BAU Graduate School – School of Health Sciences 2021–22 Academic Year Strategic Planning Meeting

The BAU Graduate School – School of Health Sciences 2021–22 Academic Year Strategic Planning Meeting was held with the participation of BAU Global Chair Enver Yücel, Director of the BAU Graduate School Fatma Özkul, Founding Dean of the BAU Faculty of Medicine Türker Kılıç and faculty members from the medical sector.

Four years ago, by a decision of YÖK, Bahçeşehir University's graduate institutes were merged under a single roof and began offering education under the name Graduate School. At the meeting, the achievements and future of the Graduate School were discussed. Attention was drawn to the growing importance attached to health since the pandemic.

The meeting also underlined that institutes are the main places where science is done, and it was noted that the number of publications has been increased accordingly.

Increasing institutional collaborations and new graduate programs to be opened and planned to be opened were discussed at the meeting. The weakness of initiatives in Türkiye for the elderly was also mentioned. In this regard, a master's program for establishing Life Villages was discussed.
