Dear Students,

As an extension of the collaboration between the BAU Conservatory Department of Performing Arts and the Grotowski Institute, we are continuing our workshops from where we left off. Our workshop is open to everyone working as a professional/semi-professional actor. To apply, participants must send their résumé (CV) to the email address below. Following the preliminary evaluation, you will receive an email stating that you have been accepted and may make the payment. Your registration will be finalized once payment is made. As your place will be reserved after payment, no refund can be made if any cancellation request is submitted. Our capacity is limited. Applications received after the capacity is filled will be placed on the waiting list.

About the Workshop:

Everyone has a story to tell. In fact, if space is made, every voice and every body has endless stories to tell. As performers, our bodies and voices are the instruments of our craft, and the stories they carry vary according to the song they sing, the expression they have, their experiences, the listener and the accompanying partner.

In this workshop, we will explore the ways in which the body and voice become a means of expression, aiming to enrich the expressions our bodies need to convey on stage along the axis of emotion, thought and dramaturgy, and to turn them into a new field of discovery.
