NARST 2025 Conference
The virtual presentations of the NARST 2025 Conference were held online on 13 March 2025. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nilay Öztürk, Director of BAUSTEM at Bahçeşehir University, presented her paper titled "Middle School Students' Climate Literacy and Climate Change Awareness: Validation of Two Instruments" at the conference.
In her presentation, Dr. Nilay Öztürk stated that the study is part of a project supported by TÜBİTAK ARDEB (3501-123K129). She explained that the aim of the research is to establish the validity of two different measurement instruments developed to measure middle school students' climate literacy and climate change awareness. Dr. Öztürk shared findings on the measurement instruments used and presented the results of analyses conducted on middle school students' climate change awareness. At the end of the presentation, Dr. Öztürk answered participants' questions and shared details of the study with them.
