BETAM April 2022 Housing Market Outlook Report for Properties for Sale Released

The April 2022 Housing Market Outlook Report for properties for sale, released by the Bahçeşehir University Center for Economic and Social Research (BETAM), revealed the rate of increase in housing demand and prices.

Compared to March of the previous year, the average asking price per square meter for residential properties for sale across Türkiye increased by 134.3% to 8,656 TL.

The report stated: "Starting this month, we are adding a new indicator on the demand for residential properties for sale nationwide to our reports. This indicator, which we call the demand indicator, consists of various demand metrics. According to this indicator, demand for residential properties for sale increased by 24.2% compared to the previous month."
