A Look into the Future: A Roadmap for Multidisciplinary Treatment in Cerebral Palsy
Dear Participants,
As the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Medicine, we are delighted to welcome you to the scientific program titled "A Look into the Future: A Roadmap for Multidisciplinary Treatment in Cerebral Palsy," organized in collaboration with the Bobath Association.
On this special day, where scientific developments in cerebral palsy are blended with clinical experience, we are excited to emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration while bringing together distinguished experts in pediatric neurology, orthopedics, physiotherapy and developmental kinesiology.
Our program is enriched by the participation of two distinguished, internationally recognized guests: Prof. Dr. Guy Molenaers and Physiotherapist Josse de Cat. Together with them, we will have the opportunity to re-evaluate current approaches in cerebral palsy management, botulinum toxin applications, orthopedic surgical decisions and clinical reasoning within the framework of the Bobath concept.
In addition, with the contributions of scientists from different universities across Türkiye, we will address topics such as early intervention, gait analysis, scoliosis management and hip surgery in cerebral palsy from a multidisciplinary perspective. We believe that each presentation will shed light on decisions in our clinical practice.
We believe that this platform, strengthened by knowledge sharing, will lay a solid foundation for the steps we will take together with the aim of improving our children's quality of life.
We are very happy to be with you on this meaningful day, made stronger by your participation. We wish you a productive, inspiring and hopeful day.
Sincerely,
Prof. Dr. Kubilay Beng
Assist. Prof. Dr. Pelin Pişirici
