ULMER Workshops: Session II of "The Effects of Covid-19 and the New Normal on Sectors"

The 2nd Session of our second workshop series, "The Effects of Covid-19 and the New Normal on Sectors," was held on 28 December 2021. Moderated by HLO-ULMER Director Prof. Dr. Esra Hatipoğlu, the session was attended by our esteemed President Prof. Dr. Şirin Karadeniz; Altay Ayhan, Lecturer at Bahçeşehir University and Sales Director of Cosmopolitan Food; Levent Kömür, General Manager of Mey Diageo; Dr. Murat Zeren, CIO of Zorlu Holding; Fırat Neziroğlu, Wearable Technologies Consultant at Bilişim Vadisi; Mete Vardar, Chairman of the Board of JollyTour; and Dr. Bekir Aydoğan, Board Member of GİTAŞ. At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on the impact on the tourism, food, dining and entertainment, and e-commerce markets, on how crises and opportunities can be addressed through industry-academia collaboration, and on possible projects. At the end of the productive meeting, agreement was reached with all contributing stakeholders to advance collaboration on the agenda items identified.
