New Course: Food, Agriculture and Migration from Legal Perspectives

The course Food, Agriculture and Migration from Legal Perspectives, with the course code LAW3014, is being offered at the BAU Faculty of Law.

Our new course, taught in English, will broaden our students' window onto universal law. Contemporary lawyers will continue to be educated at BAU!

The course Food, Agriculture and Migration from Legal Perspectives aims to discuss the right to food as recognized particularly under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, various international human rights treaties and non-binding legal instruments, taking into account the development of international law in the face of human rights and transnational commercial activities. In this context, the course will focus on agricultural supply chains and on food insecurity, rural poverty and climate change, which are the main driving forces of migration.
