BETAM February 2022 Housing Market Outlook Report for Homes for Sale

The Housing Market Outlook report for homes for sale for January 2022, released by the Bahçeşehir University Center for Economic and Social Research (BETAM), revealed that the annual rate of increase in housing sale prices broke a record.

Accordingly, the average asking price per square meter for homes for sale across Türkiye, which was 3,584 TL in January 2021, reached 7,496 TL in January 2022.

The report stated: "Although the annual rate of increase in housing sale prices as of January lost some momentum compared to the annual increase in December, the annual price increase reached its highest level in the period covered by our reports."
