Looking to the Future: A Roadmap for Multidisciplinary Treatment in Cerebral Palsy

The event was held in collaboration with the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine and the Bobath Association. In the scientific program titled "Looking to the Future: A Roadmap for Multidisciplinary Treatment in Cerebral Palsy," distinguished experts from the fields of pediatric neurology, orthopedics, physiotherapy and developmental kinesiology came together to discuss scientific developments in cerebral palsy, clinical experiences and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.

The program was enriched by the participation of two distinguished, internationally recognized guests,Prof. Dr. Guy MolenaersandPhysiotherapist Josse de Cat. Together with them, topics such as current approaches in cerebral palsy management, botulinum toxin applications, orthopedic surgery decisions and clinical reasoning within the framework of the Bobath concept were re-evaluated.

In addition, with the contributions of scientists from various universities in Türkiye, topics such as early intervention in cerebral palsy, gait analysis, scoliosis management and hip surgery were addressed from a multidisciplinary perspective.
