New Media and Political Communication are discussed in Berlin

Berlin was the next stop of ongoing events which was taking place since 2009 by the academic and industrial cooperation programs between Berlin Freie University and Bahçeşehir University.

The event took place as a continuum of the Turkish-German Media Colloquium which is held in Istanbul in 2011 huddle Turkish and German academicians, media professionals, NGO members and Internet publishers together.  From the world’s leading German media nstitutions Alex Open Channel, Art and Media Management Institute of Freie University in Berlin, the Bild newspaper and the Founder magazine are participated to this event. From Turkey, the dean of BAU Communication Faculty, Haluk Gürgen and professors from the faculty, journalist Banu Güven, general secretary of Media Associations Deniz Ergürel and representatives of NTVMSNBC, Hurriyet Digital Publications and Others Post Internet Platform are participated  to the event.

The topics that are discussed in the event that took place in Berlin are, moving of political communication to digital platforms, the possible problems and opportunities in digital world and censorship and media ethics.
