About the National Internship Program

Dear Students,

The Internship Mobilization program, launched by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office and running for 3 years, has been renamed the National Internship Program. To do a voluntary internship at public institutions and organizations, you need to register at https://kariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr/ The application deadline is 31 March 2022..

Please pay special attention to the following points before applying!

1.Only 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students can apply to the program.

2. Mandatory practical courses and voluntary internships are different matters. Do not confuse the mandatory practical courses you will take at healthcare institutions and organizations under the relevant courses in your curriculum in the 2021-2022 spring semester or later semesters with the voluntary internship under the program! The voluntary internship you do under the program cannot later be matched with, or counted in place of, any mandatory practical course in your department's curriculum.

3. If you apply, you must not have any classes in your timetable on the days you wish to do your voluntary internship. In case of a conflict, the responsibility will be yours. If you apply, it will be to your advantage to request days on which you have no classes.

4. If you have courses in Istanbul that are taught face-to-face or in hybrid format and that you are required to attend in person, and you nevertheless choose a city outside Istanbul for your voluntary internship, you cannot request an absence from these courses. Responsibility for attending your courses will be entirely yours.

5. Meeting with your academic advisor and the faculty member responsible for practical courses in your department before applying, and deciding whether or not to apply after evaluating your application together, will prevent possible problems in the future.
