SOBİD Project Outcomes at Uğur Schools STEM Workshop

The Uğur Schools 1st Term STEM Workshop was held online on 4 September 2025. The workshop program began with a presentation by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nilay Öztürk, Director of the Bahçeşehir University ÖGAM-BAUSTEM Center, titled "Socioscientific Issues in Climate Change Education: Outputs of the TÜBİTAK 3501 Project." At the workshop, attended by STEM practitioners from across Türkiye, including science, mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry and information technologies teachers, Gözde Yılmaz, Head of the earlySTEM and STEM Department at Uğur Schools, shared insights on the STEM practices to be carried out in the first half of the 2025–2026 academic year.

The workshop not only strengthened interdisciplinary interaction among teachers but also played a disseminating role in STEM and climate change education by helping the outcomes of the SOBİD Project reach wider audiences.
