TOLES Preparation Course Fall Semester Registrations Begin
BAU School of Foreign Languages is an official TOLES examination center.
TOLES EXAM PREPARATION COURSE
- At our school, an official TOLES examination center, a TOLES Exam preparation course has been organized to help you prepare for the exams. The course content and curriculum have been determined by TOLES in line with candidates' needs, and classes are taught by experienced lecturers.
- This program is open to law faculty students, law graduates, lawyers, trainee lawyers and legal professionals working or aiming to work in international commercial companies, as well as students of the “Economics and Finance”, “Law (students in the English Preparatory School)”, “International Finance” and “International Trade and Business” departments.
- Candidates applying for the TOLES Preparation Course are advised to take the Placement Test organized by our school and are expected to have at least B1-level English to follow the classes comfortably. - To take the placement test, you need to complete the form via the link below by 15 October 2026, Thursday, 14:00 .
- Candidates who will not take the placement test can register directly by clicking the relevant link below .After filling in the course registration information, you will be directed to the payment page. NOTE: The course registration and payment page will be activated after 6 October 2026.
- Classes will be held online via the Microsoft Teams platform.

*For the course to open at the levels stated above, a sufficient number of students must register.
Among Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences undergraduate students who take the Placement Test and score 70 or above, the course will be free of charge (100% scholarship) for the top 10 students . Students who have previously received a 100% scholarship for this course are not entitled to a second scholarship. BAU students who are not among the top 10 highest-scoring BAU Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences students will pay 50% of the course fee. Bahçeşehir University graduates will also pay 50% of the course fee. Participants who are not Bahçeşehir University students or graduates will pay the full course fee regardless of their placement test results.

The placement test is for those registering for the program for the first time. Those who have previously attended this course may continue from the level they left off with the instructor's approval.
All participants of the TOLES Exam Preparation Course will receive a certificate of participation from the Bahçeşehir University School of Foreign Languages.

TOLES EXAM (TEST OF LEGAL ENGLISH SKILLS)
- The TOLES Exam is an international exam that determines the legal English level of legal professionals aiming to build a career in international law firms.
- Lawyers, legal translators, trainee lawyers and law students aiming to work in the legal departments of international commercial companies can take the TOLES Exam.

1.TOLES FOUNDATION (LEVEL I / TOLES BASIC LEVEL)
The first step of the TOLES Exam, this exam can be chosen by lawyers, trainee lawyers, law graduates or students who wish to build a sufficient foundation in legal English for the next level. Consisting of two sections, reading and writing, the exam aims to assess knowledge of legal terminology used in areas such as commercial agreements, company documents and intellectual property rights.
2. TOLES HIGHER (LEVEL II / TOLES HIGHER LEVEL)
The TOLES Higher Exam measures the ability to use the legal English terminology and legal writing techniques you have learned to analyze, by listening, complex legal situations that may be encountered in professional life, and to deal effectively with legal documents through written correspondence.
3. TOLES ADVANCED (LEVEL III / TOLES ADVANCED LEVEL)
This is an advanced-level exam that tests how effectively legal professionals, particularly those aiming to work in collaboration with international law firms and native English-speaking lawyers, can use their reading and writing skills.
You can take the TOLES exams, to be held on the dates specified below, at the official TOLES examination center at the Bahçeşehir University School of Foreign Languages.
