Basic Arthroscopic Motor Skills Development Course Held at BAU Faculty of Medicine

On 24–25 October 2025, Bahçeşehir University (BAU) Faculty of Medicine hosted the “Basic Arthroscopic Motor Skills Development Course” organized by the Turkish Society of Sports Injuries, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery (TUSYAD).

During the two-day program, expert instructors in orthopedics and traumatology delivered comprehensive training on the fundamental principles of arthroscopy, hand–eye coordination, simulation techniques and surgical motor skills. It was stated that the course aimed to develop the basic arthroscopic surgery skills of young orthopedic residents and medical students and to increase their interest in minimally invasive surgery.

As Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine continues to strengthen the practical dimension of medical education, similar scientific training programs are planned for the coming period.
