Hybrid Workshop on "Is Every Complication Malpractice? Medical and Legal Boundaries" Held
The hybrid workshop titled "Is Every Complication Malpractice?" provided an important platform for discussion at the intersection of medicine and law. At this event, which addressed the boundaries between complication and malpractice in healthcare services, expert academics made evaluations through case examples and shared current approaches with the participants. The event could be attended in person as well as followed online via Zoom.
Within the scope of the program, challenging situations encountered in medical practice were examined together with their ethical and legal dimensions, and cases in which the distinction between complication and malpractice becomes difficult were discussed in an interactive environment, while participants had the opportunity to evaluate the topic from multiple perspectives through both theoretical knowledge and practical examples.
