Our Faculty Members Contribute to Social Justice in Education

“Social Justice in Education: Educational Leadership and Management”, edited by Assistant Professor Ufuk Keleş and Associate Professor Burçak Çağla Garipağaoğlu of Bahçeşehir University’s Faculty of Educational Sciences, has been published by IGI Global Scientific Publishing. Exploring social justice through the perspectives of educational leadership and management, the book focuses on developing more equitable and inclusive practices within educational institutions.

The book, which is expected to be indexed in Scopus, examines the roles educational leaders, administrators, and teacher educators can play in understanding and transforming structural inequalities within education systems. Addressing issues such as discrimination in education, diverse learning needs, and equal opportunities, it also contributes to reconsidering teacher education through a social justice lens.

With a particular emphasis on qualitative research approaches, the book serves as a resource for researchers, graduate students, teachers, educational administrators, and policymakers seeking to examine barriers to equity in education and support inclusive learning environments.
