2nd Istanbul International Summer Music Academy Hosted by BAU Conservatory

Held for the second time and hosted by BAU Conservatory, this year’s Istanbul International Summer Music Academy brought distinguished artists and educators from various countries together with young musicians in Istanbul. Five days of intensive training, masterclasses, and collaborative music-making from August 12 to 16 culminated in a gala concert on August 17 at the BAU Beşiktaş Conference Hall. During the concert, our international artists and educators, young musicians, and the Flute Orchestra shared the stage, performing works—including arrangements of overtures by Koželuch and Offenbach—for the first time in Turkey.
