Prof. Dr. Deniz Balcı to Deliver a Lecture on “The RAPID Concept in Liver Transplantation: Surgical Strategy, Patient Selection, and Early Outcomes” at the University of Pennsylvania

       Prof. Dr. Deniz Balcı, a faculty member at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine, will deliver a scientific lecture on Friday, November 13, 2026, as part of the Visiting Professor program hosted by Penn Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the leading academic medical institutions in the United States.

       Prof. Dr. Balcı will present a lecture titled “The RAPID Concept in Liver Transplantation: Surgical Strategy, Patient Selection, and Early Outcomes.”

       The scientific session, supported by the Penn Transplant Institute, will focus on the RAPID approach to liver transplantation, addressing surgical planning, appropriate patient selection, and early clinical outcomes.
