Faculty of Medicine First-Year Orientation Program Held

      Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine welcomed its first-year students beginning their studies in the new academic year with the First-Year Orientation Program. Designed to help students make a more informed and well-prepared start to university life, academic processes, and medical education, the program was held at the Göztepe Campus.

        The first days of university life mark an important period in which students not only become familiar with a new academic environment but also encounter new responsibilities, study methods, and learning processes. This early familiarization is particularly important in medical education, which involves a long and intensive academic journey. With this in mind, the orientation program aimed to provide students with a strong and informed start to their educational journey at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine.

        During the program, students were informed about the educational journey from their first steps in medical school through graduation, the academic structure of the Faculty, the first-year curriculum, and key aspects of university life. They also had the opportunity to learn about the academic, social, and institutional opportunities available to them as Bahçeşehir University students.

The First Step in a New Journey in Medical Education

       Through the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine First-Year Orientation Program, new students had the opportunity to become familiar with the Faculty, its academic staff, and the opportunities offered by the University, while also gaining greater awareness of the responsibilities associated with medical education.

     The program aimed to support students in adapting to university life, provide them with essential information about academic and administrative processes, and help them establish strong communication with the Faculty from the very beginning of their education.

    Throughout this long educational journey, which begins with the first step into medical school and leads to the medical profession upon graduation, Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine places at the core of its educational approach the development of physicians who embrace scientific thinking, question and investigate, uphold ethical values, and adopt a human-centered approach.

     Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine welcomed its new students at the beginning of their academic journey and said to the physicians of the future: “Welcome to the Faculty of Medicine family.”
