Future Industrial Engineers Showcased Their Projects Through Poster Presentations
Students from the Department of Industrial Engineering at BAU Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences successfully showcased the projects they developed throughout the semester during poster presentations held on June 18–19, 2026, as part of the Facilities Planning course. By putting their theoretical knowledge into practice, the students presented innovative and comprehensive projects focusing on production systems and facilities planning.
The projects covered key areas of industrial engineering, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, assembly line balancing, process design, facility layout planning, material handling systems, and economic analysis. Through their poster presentations, students demonstrated their analytical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, as well as their ability to apply academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.
At the end of the event, outstanding projects were recognized and awarded following evaluations by jury members from both industry and academia. The poster presentations attracted significant interest as an academic event reflecting the practical and interdisciplinary approach of Industrial Engineering education.
