Beyond Single Receptors: GPCR-RTK Crosstalk as a New Paradigm for Therapeutic Targeting – Insights from the 5-HT2A-EGFR Axis
Intercellular communication plays a fundamental role in understanding disease mechanisms and advancing the development of innovative therapeutic strategies. This session will explore the mechanisms of crosstalk between G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs), highlighting their potential as emerging therapeutic targets.
With a particular focus on the 5-HT2A–EGFR axis, the session will examine how receptor crosstalk influences cellular signaling, cancer biology, and drug discovery, drawing on the latest scientific evidence and research findings.
Bringing together researchers in molecular biology, pharmacology, oncology, and translational medicine, this session aims to provide new perspectives on receptor signaling networks and their potential to shape the next generation of therapeutic approaches.
*The language of the seminar is English.
