International İstanbul Büyükada Workshop

The International İstanbul Büyükada Workshop 2025–2026 Spring Semester officially kicked off with an online meeting introducing this year’s theme and program ✨

Organized by Bahçeşehir University in collaboration with Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, the workshop will take place in İstanbul between 18–22 May 2026 and will include a site visit to Büyükada.

As part of the kick-off session, we were delighted to host architect Büke Uras, who gave an inspiring presentation on Büyükada through his book, reflecting on the island’s layered history, cultural memory, and unique spirit. We sincerely thank him for his valuable contribution.
