From Tissue Mechanics to Personalized Radiotherapy: Acoustic and Optical Fingerprinting of Biological Systems
A special conference organized by Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine will be held to discuss current developments in the fields of biomedical engineering and health technologies.
The conference, to be delivered by Assistant Professor İrem Demirkan, will focus on the characterization of biological systems using acoustic and optical methods. The presentation will cover the fundamental principles of tissue mechanics, innovative approaches used to determine the physical properties of biological tissues, imaging and measurement technologies, and recent research on personalized radiotherapy applications.
Acoustic and optical characterization methods enable the non-invasive investigation of the structural and functional properties of biological tissues, offering significant opportunities for early diagnosis, treatment planning, and personalized healthcare applications. The conference aims to provide a comprehensive perspective on the current applications of these technologies in health sciences and their future potential.
We would be pleased to welcome you to this important event, which will foster scientific exchange and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration.
