From Tissue Mechanics to Personalized Radiotherapy: Acoustic and Optical Fingerprinting of Biological Systems

        A special conference organized by Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine will be held to discuss current developments in the fields of biomedical engineering and health technologies.

      The conference, to be delivered by Assistant Professor İrem Demirkan, will focus on the characterization of biological systems using acoustic and optical methods. The presentation will cover the fundamental principles of tissue mechanics, innovative approaches used to determine the physical properties of biological tissues, imaging and measurement technologies, and recent research on personalized radiotherapy applications.
