Archidesign Talks 3 - Leonhard Schenk
ArchiDesign Talks continues with the third event of the Spring Semester!
On Tuesday, 2 June 2026, at 17.00, we will host the talk “Architecture. Competition. Future” with Leonhard Schenk at BAU North Campus, North Lounge. The session will be moderated by Devrim Işıkkaya.
Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Leonhard Schenk is a German architect, urban planner, and a member of BDA, DWB, SRL, and DASL, he has headed the Department of Urban Design and Architectural Design at the HTWG Konstanz University of Applied Sciences as a professor since 2003.
In 2009, he founded the firm LS Architektur Städtebau, after having been a founding member and partner of Lehen drei Architekten Stadtplaner from 1992 to 2008. During this period, the practice received both the German Urban Design Prize and the European Urban and Regional Planning Award.
He is the author of numerous award-winning competition entries and publications on housing and urban design, including the book Stadt entwerfen. Grundlagen – Prinzipien – Projekte (Designing the City: Fundamentals – Principles – Projects), which received the DAM Architectural Book Award.
