The online seminar titled "Data Analysis and Visualization with GraffAIn, AI-Powered Qualitative Data Analysis Assistant" was held on Wednesday, April 29th, at 20:00 with intense participation. In the event organized in cooperation with Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Educational Sciences and Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Educational Sciences, the opportunities offered by the use of artificial intelligence in qualitative research were examined.
The seminar, which included approximately 100 participants, brought together many academics and researchers interested in qualitative research methods, especially graduate and doctoral students. Participants had the opportunity to experience the time savings and in-depth analysis opportunities provided by artificial intelligence to the researcher in data visualization and analysis processes.
In the first part of the seminar, the development process and the vision behind GraffAIn, a local artificial intelligence assistant, were shared with the participants by the architects of the system, Sait Çüm, Elif Kübra Demir, Yasemin Kahyaoğlu, and Tolga Demir. In the continuation of the event, going beyond theoretical information, practical applications were carried out through various modules of GraffAIn (content analysis, sentiment analysis, sentiment change analysis, needs analysis).
The seminar ended with the answering of the participants' curious questions. The seminar, which brought an innovative breath to qualitative research processes, was completed by thanking the GraffAIn team for their valuable presentations and all the participants who showed interest.
