BAU Conservatory celebrated World Theatre Day on March 27 with a comprehensive program of events, highlighting once again the unifying and transformative power of theatre.
The program began with a panel discussion moderated by faculty member Meltem Cumbul. Featuring Güven Kıraç, Erkan Can, and Bahtiyar Engin, the discussion explored artistic production processes, acting experiences, and the role of theatre today. It offered students an inspiring and insightful exchange.
As part of the program, students from the Department of Performing Arts also took to the stage. Over the course of three days, conservatory students presented a series of performances, engaging audiences with their work.
The productions staged included “Küvetteki Gelinler,” “Yaban Arısı,” and “Herkesin Bildiği Sırlar.” Representing works by different playwrights and directors, the performances attracted considerable audience interest.
Recordings of the panel discussions are available on BAU Conservatory’s Instagram account, @bauconservatory.
