Within the scope of the cooperation with Mundiapolis University (MU) in Morocco, Bahçeşehir University (BAU) opened a “Turkish Language and history Research Center” in Casablanca.
With the motto of “My Campus is World” BAU keeps opening several campuses and centers in various location in world and now as a result of the cooperation with Mundiapolis University, “Turkish Language and History Research Center” is now opened in Casablanca, Morocco. The center shall promote Turkish culture and language thanks to the studies it shall carry out and encourage research in mutually interested fields. The center shall also open Turkish language courses, act as a liaison office for the locals who want to communicate with Turkey, maintain higher education cooperation between Morocco and Turkey and organize cultural activities.
WE SHALL MAKE SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTIONS IN WORLD PEACE
Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın, the Rector of Bahçeşehir University made a speech in the opening ceremony held on 26th April 2013 in Casablanca, Mundiapolis University and stated that together with the recent developments in education sector, it has been essential for university graduates to be equipped well enough to work at any location in the world. Yalçın, “As BAU as of the date of establishment we have always placed international activities in the first place. We have taken over leading roles by opening centers and campuses on a large geography from U.S.A. to Japan. In this sense we are proud to open another important center in Morocco. This center which opens today, just like other centers, shall strengthen the bonds between two countries, act as a bridge and lay the foundations of new cooperation. Besides our center shall be a in demand thanks to the opportunities it provides not only for Turkish and Moroccan students but also visitors from different countries of the world and shall make important contribution to world peace.”
