The special C. Monteverdi concert, organized in collaboration between the Avellino Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory and Bahçeşehir University Conservatory, commemorated Claudio Monteverdi, one of the most significant composers of early European music.
Titled “S’apre il ciel, io vado in pace” (“The sky opens, I depart in peace”), the concert presented a selection of early music repertoire within the framework of international artistic and academic exchange.
The concert program was staged as one of the artistic productions developed under the D.I.A.R.Y. (Digital and International Arts Through Augmented Reality and Research for Young Students) project, coordinated by the Avellino Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory and supported by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU initiative.
