We examined Istanbul’s earthquake risk, the production of space, and urban resilience with Dr. Murat Güney from Columbia University within the scope of his talk, “How to Build a Resilient Future for Istanbul.”
In the event held in collaboration with the Disaster Platform, diverse perspectives were shared regarding the strategic importance of civil society organizations in disaster management.
We thank everyone who participated in our events throughout December. Being aware of the social construction of disaster, we reiterate our hope for more durable and resilient cities.
