Organized by the BAU Conservatory, the Tanbur and Guitar Duo Concert brought music enthusiasts together at BAU Pera Stage. The performance featured Prof. Kazım Çokoğlu and Lecturer Deniz Şahin, both academic members of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts.
The unique pairing of the tanbur—one of the distinguished instruments of traditional Turkish music—and the guitar offered audiences an exceptional musical experience. The refined dialogue created between the two instruments was presented through a special repertoire that combined classical and contemporary interpretations. The event drew considerable attention for its emphasis on the cross-cultural interaction of music.
At the end of the concert, the artists were presented with gifts by BAU Conservatory Director Dr. İsmet Aydın and Haliç University Conservatory Director Prof. Dr. Murat Salim Tokaç.
