Organized in collaboration with BAU Conservatory and BAU International, the BAU World Music Camp in Istanbul was held for the second time this year, offering music enthusiasts a rich four-day program.
The camp opened with a seminar by our Conservatory Director, Dr. İsmet Aydın, titled “The Tradition of Playing and Singing in Anatolian Music Cultures.” The program then continued with intensive sessions in chamber music, orchestral studies, and Turkish music.
Throughout the camp,chamber music sessions were conducted by Prof. Dr. Hyun Sook Tekin and Lect. Güneş Yakartepe,
and orchestral studies were carried out under the guidance of Dr. Nail Yavuzoğlu, Chair of the Music Department.
The program concluded with a magnificent final concert held on Monday, December 1. Participants received great acclaim for their performances, and certificates were presented to them following the concert.
Held for the second time this year, the camp once again proved to be a significant gathering that strengthens international musical exchange and offers young musicians a valuable and inspiring experience
