In collaboration with Bahçeşehir University Volunteer Counseling and HIV Testing Center, Pozitif-İz Association, and the Turkish Family Health and Planning Foundation, a comprehensive awareness seminar aimed at increasing access to accurate information about HIV, breaking prejudices, and strengthening public awareness was held.
Through this event, students, healthcare professionals, academics, and anyone interested in public health were invited to learn the scientific facts about HIV, combat discrimination, and foster a supportive understanding. An important step was taken together toward building a more informed, inclusive, and supportive society.
Purpose
- To make up-to-date, scientific, and accurate information about HIV accessible
- To reduce misconceptions and stigma in society
- To raise awareness about safe behaviors and prevention methods
- To increase sensitivity regarding the rights and social inclusion of people living with HIV
