ArchiDesign Talks begins the 2025–2026 Fall Semester on October 21!
We’re hosting Serdal Korkut Avcı for a talk titled “Partners for Imagination,” moderated by Elçin Tezel.
Serdal Korkut Avcı is a visionary design leader with over three decades of international experience in concept creation, industrial design, mechanical engineering, and product innovation. He has led one of the most creative and award-winning design teams in the global home-appliance industry, uniting design, technology, and strategy to deliver lasting impact. He pioneered agile, human-centric, GenAI-integrated design approaches that augment creativity, strengthen brand identity, and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration. His leadership has shaped products and experiences that are both emotionally engaging and technologically advanced.
Avcı believes true innovation emerges where simplicity meets intelligence and technology. He sees design as an evolving dialogue between human intuition and emerging technologies—a continuous exploration of how empathy, curiosity, sustainability, and imagination can transform everyday life into a more meaningful and conscious experience.
